 Some people think that only staff who worked in a company for a long time should be promoted to a higher position. What's your opinion?

Indubitably, promotion is indispensable for every person to get success in life . It is often argued that employees who have worked in an organisation for lengthy time should be given the senior positions.  However , in my contention,  long working staff as well as others must be given equal chance to take that position according to their experience qualification and knowledge.


Apparently,  promoting permanent employees who work for a long period holds wide range of constructive benefits for the company.  First and foremost,  not only they will understand the culture and policies of the company better, but also the loyality they have shown must be rewarded by giving them the opportunity to get flourish to higher level . To vindicate , according to the BBC it has been revealed that most of the MNCs give promotions to to the employees who have worked for more than 10 years to reap myriad benefits. Secondly, if  these employees are not elevated,  they might feel dissatisfied and may leave the company which can cause detrimental ramifications to the organization.  Thus, these are some key influencing factors for both the long working staff and organisation. 

Nevertheless,  other components  holds paramount significance for plethora of reasons. Chiefly, unlike the staff who have spent many years in the organization and done excellence, freshers can deliver better performance based on their new skills , updated knowledge and enthusiasm.  To corroborate,  as the Forbes magazine,  sales  of Amazon exponentially surged from last half decade as it welcome warmly new employees every year. Additionally,  despite having a little experience in the organisation as compared to the senior employees , an individual can do wonders  by their extraordinary performance . Seemingly , considering the externals for the post of manager level is inevitable. 

To recapitulate, although long working employees can adapt easily to the environment, rules and regulations of the company yet equilibrium should be maintained by  giving chance to every candidate for jumping to the higher position. Needless to state,  a deserving millennial should be given the desired position.
