Traditionally, museums served as knowledge centers for historical and cultural aspects. With the increasing use of the Internet, museums have become obsolete. Do you agree or disagree?

Indubitably, museums have been significant institutions for preserving and displaying art, artifacts and other objects of cultural and historical significance for centuries. It is often argued that with the exponential rise of the internet and digital media, museums are no longer relevant and they can be replaced by virtual or online resources. However, I partially agree with the given notion.

Apparently, the internet has revolutionized the way we access and consume information about the world in a plethora of ways. First and foremost, not only one can explore thousands of museums and galleries from all over the world, but also access high resolution images, videos and audio recordings of their collections. To vindicate, according to BBC research, it has been revealed that online museum visits have a high positive impact on visitor’s engagement and satisfaction as compared to offline visits. Secondly, the internet has brought a paradigm shift in the way museums engage with audiences. Unlike in the past, museums can reach wider and diverse audiences, irrespective of their location, language or background through the use of social media, live streaming or online events. Thus, this shift has created new opportunities for museums to promote learning and cultural exchange around the world.

Nevertheless, I believe that museums offer unique benefits that cannot be fully provided by the internet. Chiefly, if visitors have the opportunity to physically visit the museum, they can have a hands-on experience that allows them to appreciate the art in a way that cannot be expressed digitally. To corroborate, seeing the Mona Lisa or other paintings can leave a lasting impression on visitors. Furthermore, does it create an environment that encourages the development of critical thinking, curiosity and learning? Certainly, yes. Since museums are not just about displaying the art or objects, but also about interpreting them and presenting them in a meaningful way. Consequently, visitors can gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the art’s historical and cultural background, which can contribute to their personal growth and development at an unprecedented scale.

To conclude, although the internet has changed the way we access and share information about art, history and culture yet I do not think museums have become obsolete. Instead, I believe that museums can leverage the power of technology to enhance the education system.

Nowadays, many people have cosmetic surgery to enhance their appearance. Is this a positive or a negative development? IELTS | IELTS WRITING TASK-2

Nowadays, many people have cosmetic surgery to enhance their appearance. Is this a positive or a negative development?
Indubitably, in the contemporary era there is an exponential rise in the field of dermatology. It is often argued that millennial prefer to alter one’s features in order to increase their beauty. However, it is both a constructive and a destructive trend.

Apparently, cosmetic surgery holds a wide range of constructive benefits. First and foremost, not only it is a key factor influencing confidence, but also it creates constructive ripple by making a path to earn money. To vindicate, social media influencers earn heaps of money on basis of their beauty from promoting distinct  brands on the social media. Secondly, unlike yester years when people were compelled to live life with features they hated, now they can modify their features they do not like and fall in love with their body. Subsequentlya person who undergoes liposuction to remove excess fat may feel more confident in their body, leading them to pursue activities they previously avoided. Hence, cosmetic surgeries are welcomed warmly as it lead to elated state of mind of people by improving their mental health by mitigating anxiety and depression related to one's appearance.

Nevertheless, it entails myriad detrimental ramifications. Chielfy, if an individual gets a cosmetic surgery ,they can face chronic medical problems which could be fatal. To corroborate, according to a research conducted by BBC, it is revealed renowned singer Micheal Jackson had over 40 operations within 10 years and none were a success. Furthermore, is getting a cosmetic surgery expensive? Certainly, yes. Since,  it costs millions which makes having these treatments only accessible to wealthy people.

To encapsulate, although cosmetic surgeries are host of ostensible factors in building self esteem and a path for making money yet its potential problems like fatal affect on health cannot be ignored. Needless to state, cosmetic surgery is not a cure for deeper emotional issues and should not be pursued as such.

Nowadays, instead of locally sourced produce, many supermarkets sell a variety of foods imported from countries all across the world. Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages? IELTS | IELTS WRITING TASk-2

Nowadays, instead of locally sourced produce, many supermarkets sell a variety of foods imported from countries all across the world.

Do the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?
Indubitably, with the globalisation, there is free movement of goods and services all across the globe. It is often argued that major sellers prefer providing exotic eatables in the supermarkets. However, eventhough this practice brings about mixed bag of both boon and bane, demerits of imported food outshines its merits.

Apparently, selling foreign food entails myriad detrimental ramifications. First and foremost, not only the foreign food is processed ,but also it give exponential rise to the chronic health issues. To vindicate, as per research by BBC, it is revealed that 30% of the exotic fruits are loaded with synthetic preservatives to enhance the shelf life of the fruits. Secondly, unlike locally produced products which have a substantial contribution towards the national economy, by the sale of alien foods foreign countries reap the benefits and these food items put a strain on the income and employement of local people. Furthermore, if the supermarkets import the eatables, it can bring the imminent threat of fatal bacteria and viruses that can commute with foods from the globe.

Nevertheless, it holds constructive benefit. Chiefly, does selling foreign foods provide a variety? Certainly, yes. Since, foreign foods are sold in the local arena, it gives millennial large variety to choose from as well as offers more nutrition. To corroborate, in India KIWI which is a fruit of New Zealand is imported and it is a source of vitamic C. Additionally, exotic foods create constructive ripples in local market as they offer better quality that can not be provided by locally produced products.

To encapsulate, although promotion of foreign food could cause catastrophic repercussions on the health of the millennial yet it bring good quality and variety to the local market. Needless to state, cons of imported food massively tide over its pros.

Some believe that success in life comes from hard work and determination. Others think that it depends on factors such as money or personal appearance. Discuss both views and give your opinion. IELTS | IELTS WRITING TASK-2

Some believe that success in life comes from hard work and determination. Others think that it depends on factors such as money or personal appearance. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

In the cut throat competitive era, everyone is running in a rat race to gain success in life. However, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society vehemently deems that being diligent in life is a key factor influencing success. While others emphasise that success is based on money and beauty.

Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that being hardworking is the fundamental path to success and have many reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost, not only people get success at an unprecedented scale by burning the midnight oil, but also they learn the importance of hard work in their life which eventually help them throughout their life. To vindicate, according to BBC research, it has been revealed that 90% of the big names such as Apple, Samsung were made with their determination and hard work. Secondly, unlike inheritance which makes a person lethargic and work shirker, being diligent opens the door of multifarious opportunities in life and makes a person humble. Thus, following the path of hard work and relying on one’s capabilities is of paramount significance to get ahead in life.

Nevertheless, some believe that there are other factors like inherited wealth and beauty which has a substantial contribution in the success of a person. Chiefly, if a person has wealth in their life which they got from their family, it becomes easy to initiate a business because they have the investment required for it. Hence, the hustle for the investment is reduced by leaps and bounds and one can use that energy on improving other skills. To corroborate, as per Forbes magazine, inherited wealth always provide an extra edge to a person for becoming successful in life. Additionally, are looks correlated with the success? Certainly, yes. Since there are distinct ways to become successful in life, like becoming a model or an actor are the professions which results in hefty earnings. Consequently, in these fields having magnificent faces and body can aid in success.

In my profound opinion, although being diligent creates constructive ripples in the success of a person, one cannot ignore the role of ancestral wealth and genetic beauty in becoming famous and successful. Needless to state hard work, money as well as beauty all are the factors that have their own place in the success story of a person.
