 It is not necessary to travel to other places to learn the culture of other people. We can learn just as much from books, films and the internet. Do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable fact that acquiring knowledge by travelling is not only the source. It is often argued that one can attain Wisdom of knowledge through books, films and internet. However, I partially agree to the given notion. 

Apparently, gaining much from books, films and the internet hold wide range of constructive benefits. Firstly, not only vast information is available on internet ,but also is regularly updated with new information. For example, according to BBC it is revealed that over 55% of the people learn about the culture of other people who may or not be of different regions through films and media. Secondly, unlike travelling which involves whopping budget, gathering information using modern technology such as the internet and films an individual can learn different countries, cultural by one click on their computers or mobile phones.

On the other hand, travelling hold paramount significance for myriad reasons. Chiefly, gathering information through the forms of media may all not be correct as it might contain some unchecked false information and there may be cases wherein a culture might have been negatively portrayed in these sources which may not be true in reality. For instance, A times traveler article explained a person can truly understand once they have first hand experienced the culture by travelling to the region it is practiced in. Furthermore, one can interact with local dwellers know their beliefs, history, festivals and eating staple cuisines, wearing their tradition cloths which give a sense of belongingness.

In conclusion, although knowledge can be accessed regarding the culture of other place through various media yet  travelling to have real time experience is unsurpassable.
