Intelligence is the most important quality of a leader. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Indubitably, a leader is a friend, philosopher and guide. It is often argued that intelligence is the most indispensable trait of a boss. However, I firmly disagree to the given notion as there are other multivarious qualities which are inevitable for a team captain.
Apparently, a brilliant ruler holds wide range of constructive benefits. First and foremost, not only an intelligent mind can evaluate others opinion in a better way, but also can plan things in realistic way by observing what is best for the team. To vindicate, according to the BBC, it has been revealed that leaders with sharp mind get success in every thing at unprecedented scale as compared to others. Secondly, unlike the team members, the head knows how to utilise skills of each member to accomplish the task by taking proper decisions when required. Thus, having a brilliant brain has its own substantial contribution for the team guider.
Nevertheless, there are plethora other traits which are mandatory for a successful team captain. Chiefly, does a leader should possess good communication skills? Certainly yes, since to express one's viewpoint and discuss the plan, a leader needs to have great interpersonal skills else it would lead to mislead no matter how intelligent a leader is. To corroborate, as per Forbes magazine , if a teacher is unable to clearly communicate in class, students may not understand the concepts well which will lower their scores. Additionally, if team members are motivated and appreciated on regular basis by a leader , it would lead to prolific increase in productivity due to optimism and encouragement.. Seemingly, these are some key qualities to be a successful boss .
To recapitulate, although intellectuality is vital to be a great ruler yet the traits like motivation and good interpersonal skills are unsurpassable. Needless to state, a leader good is the foundation of a good society.
