Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of particular species of plants and animals. Others say that there are more important environmental problems. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

Indubitably,  the environmental problems are burning issue and has increased at an alarming rate. However, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society vehemently deems  that extinction of flora and fauna is the prime environmental problem, while others emphasizes that there are more  atmosphere related inevitable obstacles.

Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that loss of specific plants and animals is the principal environmental issue and have many reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost, if the species of plants and animals get extinct, there will be a break in food chain as one species depend upon the other for the food. To vindicate,  according to the BBC, it has been revealed that with the prolific increase in hunting and poaching of certain animals the extinction of other species has grown at unprecedented scale. Secondly, does loss of plants and animals affect human life?Certainly yes, since millennial need oxygen to survive which they get from plants . Thus, these are some dismal repercussions with the destruction of flora and fauna on the environment.

Nevertheless,  some believe that there are myriad other imperial  environmental challenges.  Chiefly, not only the global warming is one of the major atmosphere related issue, but also the pollution of air and water from industrial waste has led to detrimental ramifications on the planet.  To corroborate,  as per Forbes magazine,  health related problems among humans have increased massively from a decade owing to  gasses and chemical waste coming from factories. Additionally, unlike the bygone days , the dependence on CFC's  omitting products like microwave , air  conditions and more is leading towards the extinction of human race by welcoming warmly the deadly diseases day by day.  seemingly , these are major  some fundamental  environmental problems. 

In my profound opinion, although  the extinction of flora and fauna is one of the environmental problem yet the  other more important issues such as global warming and  pollution are unsurpassable. Needless to state,  measures need to be taken to preserve the plants and animals as well as to implement ways to mitigate the environmental problems at the earliest.
