The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in town and cities closing. Do you agree or disagree? IELTS | IELTS WRITING TASK-2

The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in town and cities closing. Do you agree or disagree?

Indubitably, the world has witnessed a revolutionary growth in online shopping. It is often argued that online shopping will lead to closer of offline shops and outlets located in cities. However, I partially agree to the given notion.

Apparently, online shopping holds a wide range of constructive benefits. To begin, not only it saves ample amount of time for people who are extremely busy in their professional and personal life ,but also it provides numerous discounts at an unprecedented scale. To vindicate, according to the BBC report, it is revealed that 65% of the population are doing online shopping so that they can reap the benefits of inexpensive products by searching millions of products without wasting their energy and time. Furthermore, unlike physical shopping, in fast paced life online shopping can be done at any place and people can be benefited considerably by getting their product at any place even across the border as well.

Nevertheless, shops and outlets hold a paramount significant role in people’s life. Chiefly, prudence will not prevail, if they do not find shops at their nearest area. To corroborate, people cannot rely and depend on online shopping for their household substances because online products take some time to reach the destination. A paradigm shift of people to metropolitan cities makes it laborious for them to get their personal stuff fastest. Therefore, shops and malls are proving to be a key influencing factor to get things easier and quickest manner. Additionally, does a shop help to prevent the occurrence of any uncertainty? Certainly yes, since through outlets you can try and change your products multiple times in a short time. Hence, it is less likely to the occurrence of any loss and damage.

To recapitulate, having mulled over the above-stated information and facts, although online has a significant contribution to make people’s life easy and safe yet shops in town help people in multifarious emergencies in order to provide them quick stuff at distinct stages. Therefore, offline shops should never be closed in town
