Many people argue that in order to improve educational quality, high school students are encouraged to make comments or even criticism on their teachers. Others think it will lead to loss of respect and discipline in the classroom. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Quality of education is a host of ostensible factor in developing the future of students. However, there are two contrasting views about raising standards  of education system where one section of society vehemently deems that children should have a freedom to ask questions and being critique of their teachers brings positive development in the understanding. while other emphasizes that this practise would create destructive ripples in the classroom discipline and would undermine teachers.

Apparently, various factors make a section of society advocate that students should be encouraged  to enquire their doubts and also provide feedback on the teaching skills of their classroom teachers. To begin with, not only it will enhance the Confidence of students to participate in giving feedback and ask their queries, but also it would be of paramount significance for teachers  and whole class as everyone get a chance for improvement and better understanding of the things. For instance, the Japanese schools introduce it as a part of their curriculum once a year in which peers and teachers collaboratively participate in the discussion also filled out the feedback forms which all teachers accepts in a supportive way. Secondly, unlike the old traditional schools, it will generate the honest relationships between two parties as teacher can understand the calibre  of each pupil and mould their teaching methods without any prejudices and disparities among their students. Hence, it is a tactic to trigger educational quality.

On the other hand, some believe that teachers are respectful as they are known as the builders of nations so it would bring dismal consequences in career of teachers and also break the classroom discipline for various reasons. Cheifly, if students get freedom to being a critique of their mentors, they would definitely take advantage of this opportunity and try to sabotage the teachers character and work against the protocols of whole class. To corroborate, According to BBC research most of the teachers resign from their designations in USA as they were facing a brutal feedbacks and also intimidating threats from high school students . As a result they felt worthless and opt for quitting their jobs. Additionally, does it has a catastrophic effect on class room scenario? Certainty, yes notorious group which is also called ‘Backbenchers’ disrupts the whole environment due to their negative intentions. As they would keep on interrupting the teachers while taking classes and also provide a negative feedback of the teachers which further affects their career at an unprecedented scale.

In my profound opinion, although students should get a chance to provide feedback and enquire  their teachers for their self doubts yet this should be in a supportive manner which would bring fruitful impacts both on the students and teachers.
