 Some people say it is the government responsibility to transport children to school. Others believe parents should transport their children to school. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Gone are the days when younglings used to commute themselves on foot and cycle to school. Owing to increased traffic and working parents, transportation to and from school has become one of the prominent trend. However, there are two contrasting views where section of society vehemently deems that its solely government liability to make arrangements for children commuting to school. While others emphasizes that parents should take that responsibility as they can play this role diligently.

Apparently, various factors make people to advocate the fact that regime should allocate some budget towards schools buses. To begin with, not only citizens pay taxes so authorities could allocate part of the revenue to design school buses, but also middle class working parents can be benefited  considerably as they can not afford to pick and drop their kids to school. For instance, in developed countries regime provide a free bus service for kids for commutation to school which makes students independent and aware of using transportation services. Secondly, unlike the bygone days, in this contemporary era, schools are far away from residential areas. On top of that, employing professional drivers can guarantee young students’ safety and a constructive way to conserve energy and reduce fumes from private cars.

On the other hand, some believe that parents should take this initiative for numerous reasons. Chiefly, if parents drop and pickup their striplings, they can protect them from unfortunate incidents which has exponentially risen over a past decade. To corroborate, national crime bureau agency has published a recent report in which it is published that 60% kidnapping, drugs dealing, rape has happened in 2020 in India involving schools bus drivers and security guards. Additionally, it can create a beautiful bond between parents and children when they drop them and share some quality time asking them about their daily ventures and coming projects in school. Moreover, there are more fundamental matters for successive governments to perform, improving health care and building infrastructure. Hence, taking care of younger ones is mainly parents onus rather than governments.

In my profound opinion, although government can introduce the free bus services yet parents should spare some time to help them commute because no one else would be as vigilant as the parents for safety and scrutiny of their offspring.
