 In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In the modern era, the railway is a vital source for people to travel between cities or the countryside. However, there are two contrasting views where a section of society deems that an immense amount of money should be invested in the construction of new railway lines for improving railway transport between cities, while other emphasizes that money should be invested in existing public transport.

Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that money should be used in the construction of railway tracks and have many reasons to justify it. First and foremost, not only train is the most agile way for people to reach their destinations, but also trains are the most convenient way to travel in contrast to various public transports. For example, according to the BBC news, it is revealed that 80% of the people in big cities prefer to travel by trains rather than other modes of transport. Secondly, trains are classified as the safest mode of transport by experts. Since trains are not prone to potential accidents and they have the lowest fatality rates among other public transports. Therefore, new railway lines should be constructed to improve the overall public transportation system.

On the other hand, some believe that existing public transport should be improved for various reasons. Chiefly, constructing new railway lines involves deforestation and various other processes, which are not suitable for our environment. Hence, public transport services like buses should be improved as upgrading bus services does not require any actions that will harm the environment. For instance, according to Forbes Magazine, every year thousands of trees are cut down for building new railway tracks for trains. Furthermore, the cost of improving existing public transportation is way cheaper as compared to building new railway lines. Thus, the government should focus on improving the existing public conveniences.

In my opinion, rather than spending all money for improving one particular public transport. The government should split the money between the construction of new railway lines and enhancing the existing public transportation. Hence, this will help countries to grow their overall transport system.

The given charts significanlty illustrates the changes in ownership of electrical utensils and amount of time spent in housework. Units are measured in percentage of households and number of hours per week.

Overall, percentage of households with electrical appliances increased over time whereas number of hours of housework per week decreased.

It is evident that in year 1920, refrigerator was not owned by anyone. However, the ownership of refrigerator rose rapidly between 1920 and 1940, around half of the population had refrigerator whereas ownership of vaccum cleaner slowy climbed from year 1920 to 90% in 1980. In 2000, refrigerator and vaccum cleaner was owned by everyone.

On the other hand, ownership of washing machine fluctuated over the years. However, in year 1960, washing machine was owned by significant proportion of people. After 20 years, the ownership came down to 60%. In year 1920, 50 hours per week  spent by per household in housework. However, number of hours dropped dramatically between year 1920 and 1980. In contrast, in year 2019, only 10 hours per week was spent.

However, there are predominantly two contrasting view where one section of  society vehemently deems that women should be given fair chance to apply in military and other defense forces while other emphasize that females are physically less capable for these jobs.

Apparently, various factor make a category of people advocate that women should be hired in police security forces and have many reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost, it has been proved globally that women can efficiently handle strenuous situations without any anxiety . To exemplify, in countries like India, women’s are safeguarding the border areas without any fear and crime have been substantially reduced over the last couple of years. Secondly , in the army nursing care units , women’s  portrays better care and services than male gender which holds paramount significance to recruit women in security services. Furthermore, there are many females who show keen interest  to join defense sectors therefore it would be partial and unfair to reject them conspicuously these factors constitutes to recruit female in services .

On the other hand, some believe that women are not eligible to join police sectors for myriad reason. Chiefly, job of security demands lot of field work which female shall unable to cope up with like in the custody department where members of police are officially ordered to do several raids in a day and this is the sector where women will made up to lift and carry rifles and other heavy stuff on their back for prolonged number of hours. Consequently, there are some of the predominant causes in which women shall not be acquire in police forces.

In my sagacious opinion, women nowadays are doing every possible job that male gender can think and it would  be unfair if we discriminate on the physical make of the genders body and therefore both the genders should have equal employment opportunities.

It is undeniable fact (indubitably,) science and technology has grown by leaps and bounds. It is often argued that the Television improves the livings standard of mass population rather than other modern day technological discoveries .However I partially agree to the given notion.

Apparently, (Television) holds wide range of constructive benefits.Firstly, Television has a larger audience than rest of appliances altogether. In fact, there has been prolific increase in Television viewers every decade.For example: BBC recently released a data regarding football viewers. The 2019 FIFA World Cup was being watched on various screens by nearly 2.6 billion people throughout the world . Secondly, TV provides multiple ways of communication including audio & video altogether.
