 There is too much noise in public places. What are the causes and solutions ?

Excessive noise is a burning issue. It has increased at an alarming rate. It is believed that nations across the globe are confronting Noise pollution at public places. Apparently, modernisation and westernisation is to be blamed for this universal phenomenon. However, it can be cleverly eradicated provided a slew of remedial measures are taken up.

Fundamentally , the predominant factors that evidently trigger it can be observed. First and foremost, not only Increased number of vehicles on the roads  ,but also no regulation on Building and car park construction . To vindicate, according to BBC research it has been revealed pavement resurfacing works are very noisy and pneumatic drill produces 110 dB. Secondly, Unlike the bygone days, in the modern era, Industrialisation has led to an increase in noise pollution as the use of heavy machinery such as generators, mills, huge exhaust fans are used, resulting in the production of unwanted noise. On the top of that Weddings, public gatherings involve loudspeakers to play music which considerably produce noise in the neighbourhood.

Nevertheless, there are potential ways to curb this menace. Chiefly, If the government takes coercive steps, it will have a substantial contribution in mitigating this problem. To corroborate, according to Forbes magazine it has been found that introduction of stringent policies and penalties  in the streets of South England has lead to significant curtail in the noise. Furthermore, Is controlling the excessive noise only the problem for government ? Certainly no, It is the social responsibility of the general population to adhere the rules formed by the government and help them to curb this menace.

To recapitulate, society must ensure necessary steps are taken to prevent this problem from deteriorating further. A myriad of partial fixes exists for this issue yet a permanent solution is still out of reach.
