 It is impossible for the government to help everyone around the world, so it should focus on its own country’s development. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Indubitably, government works for the upliftment of society. It is often argued that populace across the globe need help and is not possible for successive governments to help everyone around, so the regime should focus on indigenous people of their own native land. However, I firmly agree to this given notion. 

Apparently, government has a substantial contribution for the development of its own citizens first than others. First and foremost, not only native people pay a tax to the supreme bodies of their country ,but also they help in generating income which has considerable contribution in the development of a country as a whole. To vindicate according to BBC research it has been witnessed that   only 15% countries require additional support from other countries while others are self sustaining. Secondly, unlike other country’s legal bodies, it is a onus of the administration of the country to provide a healthy living standard to its fellow citizens. if developed countries support their people in various conditions such as free education,, creating employment and reservation, they can see an exponential rise in the overall growth and in line with other developed countries. Thus, the upliftment of a nation’s people is an indispensable task for the government. 

Furthermore, it is impossible for a single nation to assist people all over the world .If the government works hard , it will benefit the citizens.To corroborate according to Forbes magazine it has been found that countries like New Guinea and Samoa have gone down further even after receiving aid from several countries . Lastly, Is helping other nations a shared responsibility? Certainly no ,every government is accountable for its population and in order to create harmony in the country. if the authority succours to another part of the world people, it forges tribulation for own country people and the nation. So, people must be assisted by their own government.

To recapitulate, Although serving people worldwide in supporting them in times of difficulties is impossible. Every government has their own challenges and can intervene effectively  in their own nations.Therefore, foreign aid should be for extreme crisis.
