Children find it difficult to concentrate on or pay attention to school. What are the reasons? How can we solve this problem?
It is an undeniable fact that good and proper education in school is of utmost importance for children from their formative years of upbringing. It is often argued that in the modern era students are finding it intricate to focus and losing their concentration while studying in school. Apparently, modernization and westernization is to be blamed for this global phenomenon. However, this can be solved with the help of parents and teacher.

Fundamentally, there are various reasons for a child to find it difficult to concentrate. First and foremost is, not only non competent teachers, but also the theoretical curriculum in the school involving no fun activity is a major factor for children to lose concentration. For example, according to a BBC report, children who go to modern schools where the studies are more practical based than theory based are able to concentrate more and also do better in studies than the students who attend the conventional schools. Secondly, unlike the bygone days, in the modern era, younglings are inclined towards computer games. They show keen interest in completing complex levels of games rather than solving mathematical questions. Hence, overindulgence affects their sleep cycle which leads to less concentration in studies. Thirdly, negligence of parents since both parents are working to meet materialistic demands they do not get time to have proper supervision on their wards.

Nevertheless, there are potential ways to improve their concentration. Chiefly, parents and teachers should try to talk with children and find out their interests, likings and if they have any problems or issues, once the parents and teachers know about these things , they can find out why they are not able to concentrate and then develop a plan that suits that particular child to improve their concentration. For instance, according to a survey by Forbes it was seen that children develop to concentrate when they do activities and studies which they like. Furthermore, parents should try to be strict with their children in some matters like to sleep on time, eat healthy and less screen time all of which will help to improve the child’s concentration. Additionally, school should try to create a balance between studies and free time,  as they also need to relax which will help them to refresh and improve their concentration.

To recapitulate, although younger ones finding difficulty to stay focused yet parents being corner stone should instill the value of your paramount significance of education for their overall growth and development.
