Many claim that the fast food industry has a negative effect on the environment, eating habits, and families.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
It is undeniable fact that the world has witnessed paradigm shift in the level of lifestyle. It is often argued that ubiquity of fast food industry entails dismal consequences on nature, people’s eating habits and families bonds. However, I firmly agree with the given notion.
Apparently, fast food industry holds wide range of destructive ramifications. Firstly, not only over dependent on fast food has drifted families apart. Since preparing meals together used to be the most prominent bonding activities for family members, ordering takeaways from dining establishments frequently has considerably minimized the excitement ,but also wreak havoc on environment as it generates an enormous amount of waste which is discarded to rivers and some specific locations which possess a great threat to the sustainable environment.
Secondly, millennial who are habitual of fast food suffer from many deadly diseases such as heart attacks, sudden high blood pressure and cancer. Therefore, the rapid evolution of the fast-food industry has substantial harrowing upshot on public health. For instance, according to Forbes magazine it is revealed that consumption of two or three servings of french fries during the weekend increases seven times the risk of stroke and other heart diseases.
To recapitulate, although in a fast-paced world fast food is a great idea to save time yet it’s inherited downsides are unsurpassable. Society must ensure steps are taken to prevent environment from deteriorating further.
