Some people think that the government should spend money exploring life on other planets, while others believe it is a waste of public money when there are so many problems on Earth. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Science and technology has grown by leaps and bounds over a past decade with human space exploration being most prominent. However, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society vehemently deems that successive government should channelise funds on attaining knowledge about the sustainability of life on different planet while others emphasize on saving the earth by providing promising solutions for the critical environmental problems of global warming, water scarcity, pollution, and biodiversity loss.
Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that discovery of life on other planet has substantial contribution and have various reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost, not only does it give us the opportunity to find a solution to the major concern of increasing population on earth ,but also the idea enlightens us with the knowledge about sustainability outside earth. To vindicate, according to the BBC research scientist have  found life condition similar to earth on Mars. Secondly, unlike the bygone days when the need for human survival was less, today with the increasing population there is a prominent rise in the graph for self realization on saving the earth as the weather conditions on other planets are not favorable yet. Hence, lives on other planets compel us to love mother earth even more.

Nevertheless, some people believe that government should spend money on conserving earth. Chiefly, Appropriate measures should be taken to control the wastage of natural resources, so that they do not get depleted. To corroborate, according to BBC research, 80% of the natural resources will be depleted for the future generations. Furthermore, with the exponential rise in the population, the demands for buildings are increasing resulting in deforestation. Does the government pays enough attention for addressing these topics? Certainly no, henceforth there is a need to grow more tress and maintain ecological balance  in nature.

In my profound opinion, although government should expand the finances on exploring other planets yet the authorities ought to accomplish goals to save planet earth and prove to be a green Planet.

In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Others believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In the modern era, the railway is a vital source for people to travel between cities or the countryside. However, there are two contrasting views where a section of society deems that an immense amount of money should be invested in the construction of new railway lines for improving railway transport between cities, while other emphasizes that money should be invested in existing public transport.

Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that money should be used in the construction of railway tracks and have many reasons to justify it. First and foremost, not only train is the most agile way for people to reach their destinations, but also trains are the most convenient way to travel in contrast to various public transports. For example, according to the BBC news, it is revealed that 80% of the people in big cities prefer to travel by trains rather than other modes of transport. Secondly, trains are classified as the safest mode of transport by experts. Since trains are not prone to potential accidents and they have the lowest fatality rates among other public transports. Therefore, new railway lines should be constructed to improve the overall public transportation system.

On the other hand, some believe that existing public transport should be improved for various reasons. Chiefly, constructing new railway lines involves deforestation and various other processes, which are not suitable for our environment. Hence, public transport services like buses should be improved as upgrading bus services does not require any actions that will harm the environment. For instance, according to Forbes Magazine, every year thousands of trees are cut down for building new railway tracks for trains. Furthermore, the cost of improving existing public transportation is way cheaper as compared to building new railway lines. Thus, the government should focus on improving the existing public conveniences.

In my opinion, rather than spending all money for improving one particular public transport. The government should split the money between the construction of new railway lines and enhancing the existing public transportation. Hence, this will help countries to grow their overall transport system.

At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?

It is an undeniable fact that young people are the future of the world. It is often argued that the population of young adults has surpassed the number of old people in some countries. However, even though this practice brings about is a mixed bag of both boon and bane, merits outshine demerits.

Apparently, having a large number of adults has constructive benefits for a country. First and foremost, not only do young people have an immense amount of energy and enthusiasm for learning new things, but also they are relatively smarter than old people. For example, according to the BBC research, it is revealed that 85% of young adults have high intelligence quotient than elderly people. Secondly, the country’s growth is highly dependent on its people and it becomes an advantage for the country to have a lot of young adults, who can significantly contribute to the growth of the economy. Thirdly, the government spends tremendous amounts of money on old people every year, by providing them pensions and other basic facilities. Seemingly, a low population of old people will save a lot of money for the government and fewer taxes will be charged from people. Therefore, the large population of young adults is an advantage for countries.

On the other hand, it has inherited downsides. Old people have immense wisdom and substantial experience in their life. Hence, they always motivate their children to work hard in their life and become an overall good person in their life. Nowadays, young people are moving away from their traditions and adopting modern things. However, old people always suggest their children to never forget their traditions and always respect others. Hence, old aged are vital people in our life.

To conclude, young adults significantly contribute to the growth of the country in contrast to old people. However, elderly people are important in everyone’s life, one can learn a plethora of lessons from their experiences and wisdom.

Crimes and other kinds of information on TV and newspapers have bad consequences. This kind of information should be restricted to be shown in media. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement.Ielts | ielts writing task-2

Crimes and other kinds of information on TV and newspapers have bad consequences. This kind of information should be restricted to be shown in media. To what extent do you agree or disagree with the statement.

Indubitably, crime related news on multi media entails catastrophic ramifications. It is often argued that such kind of information should not b freely presented to the public. However, I partially agree to the given notion.

Apparently, there are numerous inherited downsides of publishing brutal news. First and foremost , not only does it disrupt the trust of people on legal system ,but also affects the mental state of a person. To vindicate, according to BBC research 10% of the people suffer from depression and shock after watching these cruel activities. Secondly, unlike the bygone days when people were genuine and used to lead a simple life, these days due to growing needs of an individual, people get inspired by such immature deeds and fall into the trap of committing a crime. Hence , watching such news can compel people to take risk and imitate the criminals.

Nevertheless, it has myriad constructive ripples on the society. Chiefly if the crime news for murder, rape and theft are shown on the television , people also get aware of the punishment that are imposed on the criminals and would realize the penalty. To corroborate, according to BBC research a potential criminal would think twice before committing a crime  keeping in mind the strict punishments and sentences later. Moreover, does it keep people updated? Certainly yes, people stay aware of the criminal activities in their surrounding and they stay beware of it. Hence, it becomes mandatory to make the public understand of the happenings around them.

To recapitulate, although the news have worse aftermaths in today’s coverage and affects a person mentally yet media should be transparent and sensitive in giving out information to the public.

Some people think that everyone has the right to have access to university education and that the government should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion. Ielts | ielts writing task-2

Some people think that everyone has the right to have access to university education and that the government should make it free for all students no matter what financial background they have. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion.

Indubitably, education is the corner stone for every individual’s development. It is often argued that education is one of the fundamental right and the successive government should initiate free of cost education for all learners irrespective of their economical status. However, I firmly agree to the given notion.
Apparently, authorities should provide education without imposing any fees for myriad reasons. First and foremost, not only free education will bring parity in
economy
,but also there will be no
interference of private institutions to exploit the students by charging them hefty fees in regard as donations and all non economic benefits  such as political involvement will be left out.
To vindicate, according to BBC research in the year 2000, 20% of the economy of India took an elevated leap when tuition classes were given to youngsters for free. Secondly, Unlike the bygone days when there was no competition for the survival of jobs , these days the opportunities are less and competition is more, the education might open the doors for the selection in the employment. Hence, the nation would enhance the academic skills and could achieve success.

Furthermore, if the basic right to education is given to the smart individuals of a poor family, they will value it and excel in their career and could do wonders. To corroborate, according to research in BBC there are myriad technologies invented by  a person who knew the value of education. Moreover, does the education only boosts the happiness of the people who could not afford it? Certainly no, the crime rates are also reduced due to the increased literacy among individuals. Therefore, Education to one person can serve the nation well in various prospects.

To recapitulate, the governments should subsidize colleges to make the education free to all strata of society as it would lead to the growth of a country economically and socially.

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Many people hold the view that the free exchange of information and ideas is the best way forward for society as a whole. However, there are two contrasting views where a section of society deems that information regarding science and businesses should be shared publicly while others emphasize that it should not be shared freely.

Apparently, various factors make a section of people advocate that information about researches should be shared and have many reasons to justify it. First and foremost, information about any domain holds paramount significance in everyone’s life.Seemingly, Not only people are curious about discoveries, but also new inventions and development give people motivation to work hard in their life. For example, according to BBC research, it is revealed that 80% of people who become researchers are often inspired by scientific researches in the past. Secondly, educational news and inventions are great sources for expanding overall knowledge and understanding in different domains. Therefore, more information should be shared among people to update them.

https://youtu.be/h_CWULybLnQ

On the other hand, some believe that sensitive information should not be shared publicly for various reasons. Chiefly, information regarding military plans, nuclear warheads can not be shared freely in public, because this type of detail can lead to dismal consequences. For instance, according to Forbes Magazine, the number of terrorist attacks that took place in the past was happened due to the leak of military information. Furthermore, things like the source code of products of top fortune companies can not be shared publicly, as these products are worth billions of dollars, and anyone can misuse them if they are shared freely. Hence, crucial information should not be shared openly.

In my opinion, there are various kinds of information out there. However, information regarding human development and new inventions must be shared in public, this will substantially increase knowledge of people whereas sensitive information must be kept confidential.

People living in 21st century generally have better quality life than people born in earlier centuries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is an undeniable fact that world has been advancing rapidly since the beginning of the century. It is often argued that living standards of the people today are much better than their ancestors. However, I partially agree to the given notion.

Apparently, millennials in the contemporary era have better lifestyle than people in bygone era owing to myriad reasons.  First and foremost, not only inventions of various machines substantially contributed in making life easier ,but also it has exponentially increased productivity of companies saving time.  To vindicate, according to the BBC research 30% of work simplified when washing machines were invented. Secondly, unlike the bygone days when there was scarcity of schools and colleges, these days educational institutes have amplified their forum to provide better teaching facilities to students. Thus, there is a prominent rise in the quality of life in the recent times.

Nevertheless, the development in the ultra modern era has lead to several dismal consequences and is proving to affect an individual’s mental health in comparison to past for plethora of reasons. Chiefly, the working millennials used to balance their life between family and work in ancient times, these days they are totally engaged in professional activities and are compelled to stay busy for more income, disturbing the work-life balance quality. Furthermore, does the technological development in 21st century making our lives sedentary?  Certainly yes,  Social media and mobile devices may lead to psychological and physical issues, such as eyestrain and difficulty focusing on important tasks. They may also contribute to more serious health conditions, such as depression. consequently, the modern world with machinery advances and automation technology have made a significant impact on the labour force nowadays. Hence, quality of life these days is stressful leading to numerous diseases.

To recapitulate, although the standard of living in the modern world has developed and providing benefits to the society yet brings a bag of bane with it creating a tensed life to lead.
