It is an undeniable fact that science and technology has grown by leaps and bounds over the past decade. It is often argued that the education sector has started providing courses on the Internet so that people can study online. However, it is a constructive as well as a destructive trend.

Apparently, online classes hold a wide range of constructive benefits. First and foremost, online classes provide the freedom of choosing study timings on individual's preference, which helps students to stay productive and energized throughout the day. To corroborate, according to the BBC research in the year 2019, it is revealed that students who opted for the online courses scored higher grades in their exam whereas students who were in classroom-based courses got moderate marks. Secondly, people always complain about not being able to study at abroad universities due to the higher cost of living and other miscellaneous expenses. Fortunately, with the availability of online courses, people can now study in prestigious universities regardless of their geographical location. Therefore, digital classes have opened the door to numerous opportunities and learnings.

On the other hand, students can face potential difficulties in non-classroom studies. To begin with, in person student and teacher interaction has been always a vital aspect of effective learning. However, online classes seem to completely demolish the interaction component of studies, which will badly harm the purpose of education. For instance, according to Forbes magazine, non-classroom classes have impacted the self-confidence and communication skills of students. Furthermore, universities are architectured to eliminate any potential distractions from students, whereas online study can distract people from various materialistic and household things, like mobile phones, pets, neighborhood noises.

In my profound opinion, although online study has numerous benefits which people can take advantage of to escalate their career and learnings, individuals should take charge of their studies and be honest with themselves.
