 Nowadays we have become a throwaway society with where it is common to throw away devices and gadgets instead of repairing them. Why is this happening and what are the effects of this?

Indubitably, mammoth rise in disposing good and gadgets has become a burning issue. It is often argued that instead of repairing and reusing people are inclined more towards new technology. Apparently, westernization and modernization is to be blamed for this heinous trend. However,it begets harrowing upshots on society.

Fundamentally, the predominant factors that evidently trigger it can be observed. To begin with,  consumerism not only escalate the production of goods, but also it becomes a never ending cycle of spending and buying. For instance , people always prefer new devices and spend lucrative amount of money especially youngster video games, mobile phones almost every year they change their gadgets. The root cause is the powerful companies who promote their brands and give numerous deals on devices. Secondly, unlike the bygone days , labour cost has risen up which totally affected businesses at an unprecedented scale and further leads to increase  in repair cost. Hence, folks prefer buy new as it even cost less than repair.

Nevertheless, it entails myriad detrimental effects. Cheifly, environmental pollution and global warmings has become a menace for regime due to over expenditure and throwing waste is deteriorating the condition more. To corroborate, national voicing of research Canada has reported that 60% sea animal distinct due to  increase in electric waste. Moreover, companies which manufacture these products generate water and air pollution massively. In addition, it has catastrophic effects on younglings while getting new devices and throwing the old one they are not able to connect emotionally with their stuff and makes our future generation relentless. Besides, folks do not value the things and money which has become another hitch for parents.

Suffice to say that, although old generation still believing in rescuing things yet prudence will prevail if government make repair cost less for public and encourage reuse and recycle goods.
