Your town is voting on a new policy to improve neighborhood safety. Residents must choose between:

Choose the option you support. Justify your choice with reasons such as privacy concerns, cost-effectiveness, or crime prevention. Write 150–200 words.

Option A : Install security cameras in public areas (parks, parking lots).

Option B : Hire more community patrol officers to monitor streets.

Answer-  words- 162

Personally, I believe town authorities should hire patrol officers to monitor streets. Even though installing cameras in public places is more cost-effective, I deem hiring security guards necessary for a myriad of reasons.

Firstly, a physically present person can prevent crimes more effectively. They can not only stop crime from happening but also create an impression of safety and security. For example, if a thief is stealing a bicycle, cameras can only help to recognize him; however, a security officer can stop him as well.

Moreover, cameras have limitations because they can only work if a proper flow of energy charges them continuously. Although hiring security staff may increase the town authorities' budget, the benefits in comparison are more valuable.

Considering these reasons, hiring patrol officers can help us in numerous ways; again, this is my personal opinion; I will support whatever decision is made.

I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this survey.
