Option A : Large Shopping Mall : A modern shopping mall with a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment options such as a movie theatre and arcade.

Option B : Small Local Market : A traditional marketplace that supports local businesses, offering handmade goods, fresh produce, and unique items from local vendors.

I believe the development authority should consider building a small market, despite the current trend favoring large shopping complexes. A small market offers numerous benefits that can positively impact the community.

Firstly, traditional marketplaces play a vital role in supporting small vendors and local businesses. By providing a platform for artisans and small shopkeepers, such markets help preserve cultural heritage and increase the demand for handmade goods. While these products may be slightly more expensive than machine-made alternatives, they offer a unique and authentic experience for consumers.

Moreover, unlike large shopping malls that often prioritize profit over community well-being, small markets emphasize social values and foster a sense of community. This approach not only supports local entrepreneurship but also strengthens social bonds within the neighborhood.

For these reasons, I believe a small local market would be highly beneficial. However, I respect and support the final decision made by the authorities.
