A recent newspaper article reported that a 14 years-old boy seriously destroyed his school and got the punishment to clean the streets instead of being sent to prison. Do you think this is right or do you think that such criminals should be sent to prison?

It is an undeniable fact that , crime rates are outrageously enhancing nowadays and it is a burning and alarming problem in most societies. It is often argued, after the publishing of an article in a newspaper, a 14 years-old boy who ruined his school got the penalty to clean the streets on the contrary of imprisonment. However, In my contention such criminals should be treated differently if the crime is not heinous in nature but punishment is also necessary for the justice and for the victimization of a children as well as a country.

Apparently, handling the juvenile offenders in different way brings wide range of constructive benefits in society. To begin with, if we sent the children in prison for a minor crime which they did because of the poverty then it is an inevitable contributing factor which stupendously play the role to increase the crime rate in future by that prisoner because in jail they will mix with other criminals and so as a consequence, their character will not improve. Yet another, the paramount significant reason is that at such young age, children and teenager do not know what is better or not because they are not psychologically developed so treating them like a criminals is not the right way.  Inclusively, juvenile delinquency incontestably is a phenomenon of dysfunctional family. For instance, BBC published a survey in which it was mentioned that 53% teenager indulge themselves in the vandalism at schools to get the attention of their parents. Eventually, 12-18 is the age when children need proper care and love but in this ultra modern epoch, parents not incessantly give quality time so their children  they feel isolated and busy themselves in anti social games or movies which moderately incline the crime rate at the very early age of children life and conspicuously it is the age when younglings give the direction to their career so if we they get punishment to go to the prisoner instead of guidance of psychological development it brings catastrophic effect on our young people lives.

Nevertheless, Is it always the right decision that not to give the prisoner punishment to the children for their serious crime ? certainly not. Because it will improve their confident to commit more crimes in upcoming time. Allegedly,  its depends on the crime and long time in prison provides an opportunity for the prison services to rehabilitate a prisoner. To corroborate, someone who has committed a serious offence such as assault will need a long time in prison in order to be sure they can be re-educated not to re-offend. Moreover, if we all the time neglect the crimes because of the age than in the future that will be most dangerous crimes . For example , if we take rape, murder, serious bullying in schools or colleges  lightly which smashed the other person than it will be injustice with the victim because of age.

Suffice to say, there are multifarious reason behind the crime of the person at very young age and if we treated such cases differently then we can save the future of a young person but if crime is serious then they should be punished severely
