Trash is not the litter but slow poison for the society. Rubbish generation in our society is a burning issue and it has increased at an alarming rate due to wrong purchasing habits of the people. Apparently, modernization and westernization are to be blamed for this universal phenomenon. However, it begets harrowing upshot on society.
Fundamentally, the predominant factors that evidently trigger it can be observed. To begin with, the world has witnessed revolutionary inventions in terms of science and technology with manufacturing industries being the most prominent. There is exponential rise in fabricating industries. Seemingly, more litter the industries produce as the extract of waste material. According, to BBC it is revealed that 7.6 billion tons of rubbish from the manufacturing plants produced worldwide every year. In this modern world the society welcomed warmly, the take away food from the restaurant due to hygiene complications. To pack the food myriad of silver foil packing and paper boxes is required and at the end this all packing material become garbage for the household. Even restaurants are keenly interested to do food delivery due to less space for sitting arrangement. According to Forbes it is revealed that 65% increase in food delivery industry from last year. Thirdly, in this contemporary era, people enjoy whopping salaries. Consequently, the significant rise in spending money on luxurious products. With emerging trend of online shopping with less wastage of time people become more shopaholic do innumerable shopping without esteem needs due to more discounts and easy payment modes the people buy more stuff without any need to them. More often all this online material produced garbage for the society. According to BBC it is revealed that 45% increase in online shopping in last two consecutive years.
Nevertheless, it entails myriad detrimental effects. Chiefly, the more garbage in the society more medical complication for the people. The rubbish produced foul smell and give birth to myriad of mosquito and other species in rainy seasons and choke the drainage system of the society. With more of the mosquito myriad of ailments to the people of society. To vindicate, in rainy season people often get fever due to mosquito bites with malaria and dengue fever. Additionally, the more garbage is produced from household or industries the dynamic change in ecosystem is occur. This change resultantly,l bring imbalance in ecosystem. To vindicate without proper ecosystem we cannot get fresh water, soil and other rocks to do myriad of work for the society. Besides, with more garbage decomposition the land become less fertile to produce more agricultural output. Seemingly, the garbage have catastrophic effects on land.
To recapitulate, the people on the individual level take the oath to do less shopping and avoid more packaging material and other products that produce garbage. Even government should make some rules and regulations for garbage and make levy staggering fine from industries and household people which produce more garbage. The garbage have innumerable destructive trend for the country so we have to undertake myriad of preventive measure for this complication.
