POLLUTION OF RIVERS, LAKES AND SEAS IS MAJOR CONCERN FOR THE PEOPLE WHO SEEK TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE CAUSES OF WATER POLLUTION, AND WHAT EFFECTS DOES THIS HAVE ON ANIMAL LIFE AND HUMAN SOCIETY?

Water pollution is a burning issue and it has increased at an alarming rate. In this contemporary era, people who indulge in working for protection of environment have to face considerable complication of pollution from river, lakes and seas. Apparently, modernization and westernization are to be blamed for this universal phenomenon. However, it begets harrowing upshots on society.

Fundamentally, predominant factors that evidently trigger it can be observed. To begin with, the world has witnessed revolutionary inventions in terms of science and technology with manufacturing plants being most the prominent. The exponential rise in units to manufacture the goods consequently, leads to water pollution by discharging the chemical residual waste in the river and lakes of the city. Nonetheless, the household waste and improper drainage system in society leads to water pollution. According to BBC 5 to 7 lac tons of waste residual in form of water every year drain into river and lakes by the factories. Secondly, the prolific increase in use of ships for transportation of goods to one place to another subsequently, caused the water pollution by extracting their waste into water with oil and other contents that used to wash the ships and sometime by oil drainage from the chamber of ships leads to water pollution in seas. According to BBC it is revealed that 35% of increase in water pollution in last two decades by submarines and ships in sea. Thirdly, due to significant rise in technological and nuclear science advancements in the worldwide scenario also increase the water pollution by manifold. All the nuclear testing is near to oceans and seas resultantly there negative impacts not only affect the humans but also these radioactive and chemical based wastes dump into the ocean and sea disturb the marine life.  According to Forbes 45% of increase in nuclear waste due to technological innovations in nuclear weapons.

Nevertheless, it entails myriad detrimental effects. Chiefly, the increased pollution level in the water of sea and lakes have its own inherited downsides to the humans and animals. In present era, the scarcity of fresh water used for drinking purpose of household, animals and for agriculture purpose are the major complication. Myriads of medical ailments are due to non-availability of pure water. To vindicate the ailments of cancer, cardio arrest, and typhoid fever. According to BBC in worldwide 35% of increase in cancer patients is with use of hard water for drinking purpose. Additionally, the water pollution available in seas and ocean is threat for water species. In present time,  the mortality rate of aquatic species and animals are increased by  manifold. The species do not get the fresh oxygen to inhale due to more of radioactive and nuclear waste that drain into the water. Seemingly, the oxygen content in the water is eradicated by pollution waste. Besides, the ecosystem get disturb with increase in water pollution under the earth. Consequently,  leads to unsustainable biodiversity. To vindicate, without ecosystem we cannot get good climate nor fresh water nor soil and rocks to live the fruitful life.

To recapitulate, the government should make some rules and regulations in accordance increased in water pollution. The more water pollution  increase it predominantly effects the ecosystem with natural habitat. All the ecosystem and species are indispensable for better health and environment to live. Even concerned authorities levy staggering charges to the factories that not have proper drainage system and discharged the waste into the rivers
