Apparently, various factors make as section of people advocate that taxation department should take whopping taxes from industries as it is the right way path to control the pollution and have many reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost is, government department indulge with collection of taxes has its own paramount significance and contributing factor to minimal the industrial pollution because the companies take the measure from their own end to minimize the pollution or do the activities in company according to the norms of the government. According to BBC it is revealed that 35% of tax collection is from the manufacturing units which produce more pollution. Secondly, the government has proper guidelines to do the manufacturing or production process according to the nature of work with the help of some machines and with use of some technology which helps to minimal the pollution during the process of production so industries has to strictly adhere to that norms and the organization which not do the work as per norms the government levy the staggering taxes from them consequently, the government derive the benefit of more revenue generation. The quintessential example is with industrial pollution act 1981 the government levy the taxes or fine from the companies. Thirdly, is it good to collected taxes from the company that produce pollution? Certainly yes. Even though the taxes collected by the government play an indispensable role for the economy, the government provide promising development to the society from this revenue in enhancing the economy by developing myriad of sectors that subsequently provide various opportunities to the people
On the other hand, some believe that there are plethora of other ways to solve this complication for myriad reason. Chiefly, the government play a vital role and there are some key factor influencing this that government has to make some law and reforms regarding this menace of pollution. The government has to provide subsidy to some sectors to change the nature of work which produce less pollution and beneficial for the society and resultantly it will curtail the burning issue. Additionally, the government and concerned departments make some rules regulations to operate the production process according to the laws to combat this grave issue and society will reap the benefit of healthy life style by minimum the chance of ailments from pollution. To corroborate, the government minimal the process of production which produce more pollution contents. Besides, the government provide tax free land or rebate to shift the production and manufacturing process out of the cities or within some area provide by government so that it is easy for the organizations with less budget and less expenditure shift their plants and benefit considerably with more revenue with less taxes to be paid to the government. At the individual level also, one should put innocent efforts like to opt bicycle for short distances.
In my profound opinion, the government has to make some stringent rules regarding industrial pollution subsequently, people will not get any medical ailments from the pollution content and they easily shift their production process to the defined area by the government to pay tad taxes with more revenue generation
