overpopulation of urban areas has led to
numerous problems. Identify one or two serious ones and suggest
ways that governments and individuals can tackle these problems?
Abundance population in metropolitan is the burning issue. It has increased at an alarming rate. In this contemporary era, overcrowd in metro cities bring multifarious issues. Apparently, outrageously enhancement in the pollution, accommodation issue are potential problems from this universal phenomenon. However it can be cleverly eradicated provided a slew of remedial measures are taken up.
Fundamentally, overpopulation in cities breed nothing but discordance. To begin with, huge demand for house is an inevitable contributing factor because when immense number of people migrate to the cities government have to built buildings and this tendency leads to the deforestation which stupendously give detrimental effect on our environment. Yet another, over spill in urban areas has moderately put excessive burden on transportation. As a dismal consequence, when public transportation are crowded then dwellers prefer to use their private vehicles which is the major cause of pollution like, water, noise and visual pollution. For instance, BBC published a survey in which it was mentioned that in India metro city Delhi is already facing the issue of water scarcity they have to pay for fresh water and for the water of household chores because the water in that city is contaminated. Incontestably, inhabitants are moving from rural areas because of career opportunity then it give negative impact on our agriculture exploitation and our economic growth depends on that particular areas and development of big cities also depend on that .
Nevertheless , there are potential ways to curb this menace. Chiefly. the government should use their sovereignty and provide a better CNG public transportation with large number siting facility. Allegedly, companies and industries should be open in rural areas so that denizens of villages get outstanding job opportunity in their indigenous areas also, proper transportation, telecommunication are substantial contributing factor that conspicuously conducive to sharply control the escalated numbers of migration because with these facilities farmers can effortlessly transfer their yields to distinguishing markets for better prices and sales. As far as matter is concerned, individuals should consistently take steps to upgrade the standard of living in countryside areas with better hygiene and sanitation. Furthermore, it is indispensable that next generation is well groomed in villages and states and evolved societies should contribute funds for education and healthcare in villages so that they can reap the benefits further.
Suffice to say, poor planning and centralization for jobs are common reason for the current situation but by applying a few remedies we can prevent this issue for deteriorating further.
