Hostel management has decided to upgrade the security in and around the campus. The management has sent out an opinion survey to see what residents would like to have new security measure.
you are residing in college hostel-
Option A: New HD Night Vision Cameras Covering the area around the hostel
Option B: Installing Biometrics Locks On the doors
I vehemently reckon HD night vision cameras act as a visual deterrent to intruders. Even though fingerprint door locks can be used to identify the person, and this can be used to disallow any other outsider from entering high-security facilities, the constructive ripples of night vision cameras is unsurpassable.
Firstly, not only night vision cameras covering the area around the hostel have mechanical cut filter that function as electronic color adjustment which has substantial contribution in capturing pictures and videos with the right contrast at any time of day or night ,but also it comes in a wide range of shapes and sizes, from bullets and domes to standard fixed models, the options are in abundance. Also, there are tiny board cameras for those situations in which maximum discretion is required. Hence, it would pick up any suspicious activity certainly providing safer environment for the hostlers. Secondly, unlike fingerprint locks systems which is cumbersome to install, night vision cameras can be used and handled by anyone.
Thirdly, CCTV 24x7 surveillance systems are bothprominent deterrents against incidents occurring in hostels, whether that is bullying, unauthorised access, or vandalism and comprehend to keep hostlers safety at the forefront. It also can be used to identify bottleneck areas on the hostel premises, however, the fingerprint locks do not get scanned sometimes because of oil fingers or hurt fingers. These matters can disrupt the machine from not identifying particular fingerprint.
Considering these reasons, I firmly believe CCTVs are spearheading the revolution to achieve complete security and safety at hostels on an unprecedented scale.Again, these are my personal beliefs, but I will support whatever hostel management decides to do.
Thank you for having the opportunity to participate in this survey.
