In many countries there is a lot of garbage (rubbish), because more and more people are buying things. What are the causes? what are its effects?



Nowadays, many nations are facing a trouble of huge amount of rubbish. The gigantic amount of waste is created because consumerism has increased many folds and consequently environment gets damaged.

Apparently , the trend of buying more than requirement is popular in today’s world. The first and foremost reason is availability of funds to purchase more than required. It is because the net worth of an Individual has considerably raised over the two decades. Similarly, manufacturing industries are creating products with latest features every now and then to allure customers to buy the new products. For instance, Samsung is a renowned brand of electronic appliances in India and the company launch latest mobile after every three months by adding extra features and appeal the public to purchase the latest version.Additionally, the modern society espouse throwing culture because the millennial prefer buying the new device when old one get damaged rather than repairing it.

It certainly has negative consequences on environment as well as human life. Chiefly, environment suffers huge waste problem which further contribute to all sorts of pollution that not only disrupts the human life but it has deterring effect on animals as well. To exemplify, the food chain get disturbed as major flora and fauna habitats  are destroyed by waste disposals. Moreover, as the rubbish is produced in high amounts and there is no proper disposal systems.henceforth, this problem will be a major concern in future.

In conclusion, high consumerism has lead to the menace of rubbish and it can have injurious effects on human as well as animal health. Ergo, societies should change there attitude towards this trend and adapt more constructive approach .
