NOWADAYS MORE AND MORE TOURIST ARE VISITING PLACES WITH DIFFICULT WEATHER CONDITIONS SUCH AS THE SAHARA DESERT AND ANTARCTICA REGION AND SO ON.WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES FOR TOURIST WHO VISIT THESE PLACES?


NOWADAYS MORE AND MORE TOURIST ARE VISITING PLACES WITH DIFFICULT WEATHER CONDITIONS SUCH AS THE SAHARA DESERT AND ANTARCTICA REGION AND SO ON.WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES FOR TOURIST WHO VISIT THESE PLACES?


Owing to the growth in globalization, the movement of people have certainly proliferated. It is believed that greater number of tourists are now exploring strenuous terrains which often do not have human settlement as due to rough climatic conditions .However, it is a mixed bag of boon and bane.

On the constructive part, society is blessed with numerous benefits because of presence of accessibility options to these places which are worth mentioning. To begin with, people nowadays have the intrigue to explore harsh weather sites to unveil the secrets of nature thereby making a record and viewing it as a success .For instance, there has been augmentation of people from the world over who are climbing Mount Everest for the last two decades. Secondly, tourists are more keen to unfold the new types of wildlife species who are living in nonadjustable climatic conditions. To vindicate, there has been huge surge in the expedition to Antarctica, because of the curiosity of the visitors to explore the habitation and reproductive patterns of polar bears and penguins. Subsequently, more and more tourists are now reaping the benefits of going to these rugged destinations.

On the destructive part, there appears to be potential shortcomings of this  trend. Chiefly, these extreme weather trips often jeopardize the health of public thereby causing some serious implications. For example, there has been multifarious cases where visitors have been adversely affected by the Hypothermia during their trip to Antarctica .Besides this, due to long trips people often get homesick which further cultivates anxiety and depression. To exemplify, several tourist claimed that on a trip to Sahara desert they feel quite solitary and distressed as they we were away from their family members for more than six weeks. Conspicuously., these are some of its dismal consequences of these trips which have harsh weather.

To conclude, unwrapping the secrets of new species of wildlife on these trips are some of its advantages whereas getting trapped by several diseases physically and mentally due to rough weather are some of its demerits.
