Today Internet has replaced traditional books as a source of information. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages?

In this contemporary era, usage of internet is growing by leaps and bounds. World has see revolutionary changes after evolution of Internet that it has outplace the conventional books for information. Indubitably, there are constructive and destructive effects linked to this.

Apparently, e-books contribute wide range of positive development due to myriad reasons. First and foremost is its reliability and accessibility for information for example, information on internet is up-to-date and fresh for readers unlike outdated books that publish years or months before, moreover, individual can rely on internet for accurate information as one can cross check the same data from another website at ease . Further more, virtually acquiring the knowledge will have paramount significance in saving trees which has been perpetually cut for the production of paper. Consequently, there will be prolific rise in betterment of environment. Additionally, Internet-based books needs no extra space to make, provided it can store gazillions of data without worrying about carrying hefty books everywhere.

On the other hand, displacing traditional books for Internet based information has wide range of dismal consequences on people. Chiefly, it is nearly impractical to rely it on longer run as it will only generate information if its network is running efficiently and device battery is sufficient. As a result, there will be high dependability on electronic devices to study anything. Secondly, it will create complications and diversions among people who adapt e-books, to corroborate , many people find it difficult to manage font size and other complexities such as advertisements on the pages that impedes their interest from reading and encourage them to read irrelevant information given on internet. Thirdly, reading through internet can be time consuming as one has to struggle from umpteen sources for the pertinent data which becomes highly ambiguous due to innumerable information available in internet. 

Suffice to say, people have welcomed warmly the use of internet-based books which indubitably supersedes usual books. However, there are still many people who would still considered traditional books due to its comfort and as it delivers along with that, which is still very popular among book readers and various authors.
