The movement of people from agricultural areas to cities to work can cause serious problem in both places. What are the serious problem and what measures can be taken to solve this problem?

Sample Answer: Indubitably, the trend to migrate from rural area’s to urban area’s has increased at an alarming rate. In this contemporary era, farmers are outrageously shifting to urban regions of the country for better work opportunity and for lifestyle  and they are leaving their villages and farmland. Apparently, it begets harrowing upshot on society. However, it can be cleverly eradicated provided a slew of remedial measures are taken up.

Fundamentally, migration can breed nothing but discordance. To begin with, moving from villages to metropolitans is an inevitable contributing factor which moderately reducing farm production. As a dismal consequence,  there will be shortage of food and regime has to import from various part of the world to maintain food supply. For instance, BBC published a survey in which it was mentioned that there was a  dramatic drop in the harvesting of rice in many nations only 53% production was done worldwide because of the shortage of farmers in villages. Yet another,  there is a detrimental effect on our economic growth because of  incessantly  enhancement of this tendency.  To corroborate,  in India our 67% work depends on agricultural but nowadays populace want standard of living and high salary work so they take step to move in that places where growth rates are high. Incontestably,  it will stupendously incline the overcrowd in big cities and those cities are already suffering from  numerous issues like, pollution, water scarcity.  Eventually, the other inherited drawback of this vogue is that in metro cities  there will be no place for accommodation and as result  it will slightly rise the trouble of deforestation and over population  also is the cause of traffic congestion which has several catastrophic effect on society.

Nevertheless , there are potential ways to curb this menace.  Chiefly, the government should use their sovereignty and do better collaboration between rural and urban areas.  Allegedly,  local councils should consistently take steps to upgrade the standard of living in countryside areas with better hygiene and sanitation.  Moreover,  proper transportation, telecommunication are substantial contributing factor that conspicuously conducive to sharply control the escalated numbers of migration because with these facilities farmers can effortlessly transfer their yields to distinguishing markets for better prices and sales. Furthermore,  it is indispensable that next generation is well groomed in villages and states and evolved societies should contribute funds  for  education and healthcare in villages so that they can reap the benefits further.

Suffice to say, poor planning and centralization for jobs are common reason for the current situation but by applying a few remedies we can prevent  this issue from deteriorating further.
