In some countries, it is illegal for companies to reject a job applicant for their age. Is this a positive or a negative development? IELTS I WRITING TASK-2

In some countries, it is illegal for companies to reject a job applicant for their age. Is this a positive or a negative development?
Indubitably, In today ultra modern era, majority of jobs is given on the basis of qualifications, and work potential. It is often argued that in few nations age discrimination is being taken into consideration while recruiting for a job. However, in my contention, it is a destructive trend.

Apparently, culminating age eligibility between the job experience hold wide range of constructive benefits. To begin with, fresh graduates confidence would be uplifted if they are allowed to apply for the higher positions. To exemplify, TCS organization of India has allowed the college pass out students to fill the post of Area Sales Managers which as a result played key influential role in boosting their job prospects and in arguably , there was prolific rise in the stream of NBA Masters of business administration in multifarious colleges. Secondly, there would be a sharp culmination on the thinking of under graduates who are brainwashed in order to study in first world countries. For instance, in India, government is incessantly working towards eliminating age criteria of jobs in both private and government forms in regard to stimulate the interest in the experience to work at higher positions depending upon their academic knowledge. Conspicuously, these aspects play substantial contribution in the holistic progress of workers coupled with nations.

Furthermore, introducing the age factors in the jobs certainly have catastrophic effects both on individual as well as society. To vindicate, deserving workers would be demoralized who inquisitively wanted to work at greater position and unwillingly will have to wait to get into that age pool to have a legal eligibility. For instance, in nations like USA, Canada the multinational corporation’s like Microsoft and ———, the former is passing criteria to become a technical head is to be of no less than 35 years of age irrespective of your academic and job experience. Only this has proliferated the job hoping of the employees from one company to another which is causing an inherited drawback is the revenue of several companies and its trust has started falling sharply. Consequently, These factors portrays some of the decimal consequences of inculcating age scenario in the job prospects.

To conclude, taking Age factors of workers when applying for a job would certainly surge their confidence and trust on the respective companies which is a negative development for both individual and country.
