As computers are being used more and more in education, there will be soon no role for teachers in the classroom. Discuss and give your comment?

It is an undeniable fact that education is a journey to manifest one’s innate qualities. It is often argued that with the high usage of machines in educational institutes, the day is not far when it will substitute the teachers in the classroom. However, in my contention, teachers play paramount significant role in the gradual evolvement of students.

Apparently, the fundamental role of an educator holds wide range of constructive benefits.  To begin with, teacher’s existence not only augments knowledge and moral qualities, but also ensure conventional classroom management and productive learning which computers lack though. To vindicate, in virtual classrooms there will be no control on classroom affair without teachers, at the outset students might end up just listening and no learning. Secondly, unlike teachers, machines can only execute prerecorded instructions and facts where doubts of students will remain unattended and it will be a one-way interaction. Therefore, tutors are inevitably a contributing factor in the holistic and promising evolution of an individual.

Additionally, if there are average students in the classroom, teacher can lend a human face by employing various teaching techniques like eliciting, promoting and appreciating. For instance, Mother Teresa, a great tutor, from whom average students had reaped the benefits to grow morally scrupulous. Besides, can computers mix human feelings in the interaction? Certainly no, despite a machine executes module flawlessly, it cannot impart flexibility and variety in the classroom. Thus, computers cannot replace humans in any aspect.

To recapitulate, although virtual classrooms open doors to various online sites and access to information as per your requirements, the role of a teacher exerts a great deal of influence on students and can be periodically restructured but never replaced.
