The best way to reduce crime among young people is to teach parents good parenting skills.

Do you agree or disagree?

It is an undeniable fact that crime is a burning issue. It is increasing at an alarming rate. It is often argued that  the ideal way to combat the crime among adolescents is to impart parenting skills to guardians. However, I partially agree to the given notion.
Apparently, teaching parents how to nurture  their  children holds  wide range of constructive benefits. First and foremost, not only it will help them to impart moral values and ethics to their wards in a better way, but also make their younglings aware about the detrimental ramifications of bad things. To vindicate, a recent research by BBC revealed that the ratio of young ones who are brought up by  special parenting skills are less involved in crime  in comparison with the others. Secondly, despite the fact that every parent knows how to raise the children in traditional ways, these skills act as a key factor influencing in upbringing their child  in the best possible way by employing modern mind set. Subsequently, it will reduce the juvenile delinquency.

Nevertheless, there are myriad other ways to curb this menace. Chiefly, if a law is  imposed by  successive government against the unethical means done by youngsters, it will aid to deter the crime.  To  corroborate, as per  Forbes magazine, it has been exhibited that a strict rule passed in European countries few years back have dropped the crime rate by 48%.  Additionally, does the education plays a paramount significant role in mitigating crime? Certainly yes, since education is a weapon to change the world,  nonetheless by imbibing the right values in schools and colleges have their own substantial contribution in curtailing the crime.

To recapitulate,  although teaching caretakers  good parenting skills have its own constructive ripples, however the fundamental role of government and education also have a contributing factor in curbing the crime among young ones.
