People shopping habits depends more on the age group they belong to than any other factors. Do you agree or disagree? | IELTS | IELTS writing task-2

People shopping habits depends more on the age group they belong to than any other factors. Do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable fact that shopping has become an indispensable part of everyone’s life. It is often argued that age group is more essential for shopping rather than any other aspect. However, I firmly disagree to the given notion.

Apparently, there are multifarious factors other than age group which holds wide range of constructive benefits in shopping. To begin with, not only the gender, but also money is a contributing factor to the preference in shopping. To vindicate, usually girls prefer purchasing dolls whereas boys like  technological gadgets. Secondly, unlike bygone days, shopping has become as a recreational activity rather than buying necessary things. Incontestably, incomes has risen, a person’s ability to shop is ultimately determined by their financial status.

Furthermore, does advertisement manipulate the purchasing choices? Certainly yes, advertisements have paramount significance in the contemporary era of shopping trends. Which benefits considerably to all age groups in order to keep them up to date regarding new launch. Another fundamental factor that could influence the shopping habits of people is their values and beliefs. People who believe in simple living are unlikely to splurge even if they can afford it.

To recapitulate, although given aspects in the statement analyses that only age group does not crucial for buying, other elements gender, financial status, family and friend are equally considered as imperative.
