 Some people think instead of preventing climate change, we need to find a way to live with it. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

It is an undeniable fact that climate change represents a major threat to life on Earth. It is often argued that we need to accept it rather than trying to eradicate it. However, I firmly disagree to the given notion.

Apparently, there are various measures that government and individuals can take to prevent, or at least mitigate, climate change. Firstly, by creating more greener spaces we can reap the benefits of sustainable environment and is eventually a contributing factor in tackling this menace. For instance, awareness programs should be organized by government authorities to encourage people to plant more trees and how it will contribute to combat global warming. Furthermore, unlike dictatorship countries, public in democratic continents can affect the actions by voting for the politicians who take preventive actions in this context rather than those who ignore it. Hence, it is high time to tackle this grave issue.

Furthermore, if instead of taking above measures people will start to live with it, I believe it will point to disastrous repercussions at an unprecedented scale on not only this generation ,but also descendants. To facilitate this, we would not be able to cope up with even a small rise in sea level. Thereby, many people will be displaced with flooding, particularly in countries with low-lying areas. Seemingly, these people will lose their homes and jobs and would be forced to migrate to nearby cities and countries. Besides, Will climate change stimulate outbreaks of various diseases? Certainly yes, we are already aware of various novel diseases that have come into picture with this climate change. Thus, it is need of the hour to prevent climate change. 

To recapitulate, since we do not have any other choice but to live on this Earth, we must take precautionary actions to put a stop to devastating ramifications of climate change otherwise, we will end up with an axe on our own foot.
