The amount of garbage produced by our cities is a big problem for government  around the world. What problems does it create? How can this problem be fixed?

Trash is a waste material that is discarded by individuals, usually due to perceived lack of utility . In this contemporary era, administration authorities are encountering complications in handling heaps of garbage that is generated by urban section of society. Apparently, it begets harrowing upshot on society. However, the collaborative efforts of government and individual can overcome this issue.

Fundamentally, it entails myriad detrimental effects. Chiefly, overflowing waste bins are an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, insects and vermin which further causes diseases like Dengue, Malaria, food poisoning and many more to the individuals. Furthermore, mound of rubbish not only produced air pollution but also contaminated water surfaces and disturbs the ecosystem as well. To elaborate more, the toxic substances such as carbon dioxide,  nitrous oxide and methane which is being absorbed by lungs and results into respiratory problems for example with the inflation of above mentioned gases give prolific increase to global warming, causes extreme climate changes. As far as the aquatic life is concerned,  garbage and liquid waste thatend up in water bodies negatively change the chemical composition of the water which is the key factor influencing in creating water pollution.

Lastly, how can we forget our economy? As we know, most of the leftovers stimulate foul odour; henceforth our economy is experiencing dismal consequences to a great extent. Because, a city with dreadful waste management will certainly not carved-a-niche on the tourists. Consequently; it is crystal clear, it will affect the livelihood of the local traders.

Nevertheless, there are potential ways to curb this menace. Firstly; with the uplifting of awareness programmes regarding catastrophic effects of bulk of trash on the health of the individuals, it would diminsh  this peril to some extent. Seemingly, education is the only weapon to change the world, through which a rural citizens may aware of its potential problems and would able to fightback on this situation. Secondly, segregation of dry and wet garbage is only possibility which give a towering influence to solve this problematic circumstances; subsequently, 3R's formula ( Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) comes into existence with the group efforts. Additionally,  a farmer can reap the benefits from vegetable waste as it can be converted  into manure and fertilizers which has a paramount significance in production of good quality crops. Last but not least, management should provide authentic helping hand in cleaning the rivers and ponds in order to safe the aquatic life and maintain ecological balance of the nature.

To recapitulate, rubbish pile is a serious concern and needs to launch a full-scale investigation by the legal authorities as it is a global threat to the society. Other remedial measures such as by adopting paper and jute bags instead of polythenes; avoiding plastic bottles and cans etcetera would also create constructive ripples in dwindling garbage to some degree.
