Indubitably, in the ultra modern epoch most of the esteemed companies provide internship to the collegiate during their final year. However, even though this practice brings about a mixed bag of both boon and  bane, merits outshines demerits.

On the constructive part, society is blessed with plethora of benefits because of presence of apprenticeship which are worth mentioning. To begin with, an individual would reap the benefits of work experience through learning by doing method which cannot be obtained in a classroom's bookish study. Practical knowledge play a key factor influencing in multiplying his developing skills. Secondly, an intern would derive benefits by creating a network with professionals in the field. Internships provide an opportunity to work with professionals who achieved  huge success in their respective professions who can be the future colleagues too. Thirdly, with an internship, a trainee would refine his capabilities  with the mistakes committed during training period and boost himself with full of confidence and greater efficiency.  For instance, in animation business, if blunders of the learners would rectify by the supervisors , subsequently it gives amplification to his productivity and logical thinking. Lastly, an experienced intern would receive heavy salary bags in his starting months, in contrast with those who never had an apprenticeship in his life which inflate the financial status to large extent.

On the destructive part, there appears to be potential shortcomings from this trend. Chiefly, the greatest internship challenge is of uncooperative mentor. Sometimes, instructor does not expand his knowledge with the freshers with diligence as list of questions and doubts bother him often. Correspondingly, it becomes a herculean task for a learner to eliminate his confusion while working as he is being restricted to himself due to hesitation. Additionally,  a men tee experienced dismal consequences especially in consideration with the health.  With the escalation of workload pressure, competitive co-interns and many more, a pupil indulges himself in depression, anxiety like complications.  To exemplify,  in a recent survey conducted by Indian Organisation conclude that 65% of beginners are suffering from trauma for being settled in the journey of their lives at such young age. It has a catastrophic effects on their physical and mental state of being.

To recapitulate,  if a mentor would be loyal, co-operative,  energetic and understandable towards the  apprentice; then learner's career objectives would be accomplished in a wildly enthusiastic manner but he must not ignore his trainer's instructions and of course,  inherited downsides of overload work upon health.
