Young people:

Open to new ideas, flexible timings 

More energy to adapt new things 

Technology makes it easier 

Old people:

Extra time 

More concentration without any work 

Sample answer : Industry revolution demands learning various foreign communication mediums including language from humans.However there are predominantly two contrasting views where a large section of society deems that youngsters are far more capable of learning foreign languages while other Emphasise that old aged people are more up to the task.

Apparently , various factors make a section of people advocate that younger generation possesses better skills for acquiring foreign language and have many reasons to substantiate it. First and foremost is the adaptability of youngsters. They knows how to break the ice.For instance, young people are more adaptable to new circumstances as they are always up for new challenges. Secondly, the energy levels of relatively young enthusiasts helps learning new skills quickly. Thirdly, People aged 15-35 have more resources and learning mediums via technological aspects.

On the other hand some believe that Old aged people adapts quickly to the process of learning foreign language.For myriad reasons, chiefly, people  aged above 40 have ample amount of time to try and learn new things . For Instance, young aspirant tends to be more occupied with the financial, social and different responsibilities and it becomes next to impossible finding space to learn something out of context.Moreover, Grey hair people are able to concentrate more on specific things solely because of the time availability which results in more productivity.To support this, mature aged people are more financially stable and they can easily hire good tutors for home studies and nothing can beat that.

In my profound opinion, willpower plays a huge part in learning foreign language skills than age factor. Humans tend to adapt to various situations bar the age factor. Adaptation phase could be different for both sets of people but so far so good, it is possible considering suitable conditions.
